BASEBALL, LAUGHLIN, AND WINTER BREAK - A SURE BET
— John Sullivan Tosses First Pitch at Cubs Spring Training Game —
(March 11, 2005) Laughlin, Nev — John Sullivan, Director of Fun for the River Palms Resort and Casino tossed the ceremonial first pitch at the Cubs Spring Training Game against the Oakland A's on March 8, 2005. Sullivan and his team, the River Palms Gamblers, were the champions of the Winter Break, 2005 Fantasy Baseball Camp Tournament conducted in Laughlin, Nevada. Randy Hundley's Fantasy Baseball Camp organized the event and Randy was joined in Laughlin by former Cubs Gene Oliver, Carmen Fanzone, Bobby Dernier, and Larry Biittner.
The Winter Break, 2006 Fantasy Baseball Camp will be held January 6-8, 2006 in Laughlin, NV and men or women over the age of 50 are invited to participate. A special package is available, which includes two nights accommodations in Laughlin, hosted welcome reception for two guests, one day of instruction and workout, round robin tournament, team picture and certificate, t-shirt and two Winter Break admission bracelets.
